Dr Shashikumar B M is a renowned dermatologist practicing since 2008. He has done his MBBS from prestigious JSS medical college & completed his MD in Dermatology & Venereology from renowned Institute “KIMS, Hubli”. Also, completed IADVL fellowship on dermatopathology under Dr Uday Khopkar, Mumbai.
He has an extensive experience in the field of DERMATO-SURGERY &
DERMATO-COSMETOLOGY. He believes that COUNSELING is the essential element in
managing patients with Skin, Hair & Cosmetic concerns. So he ensures
SPENDING ENOUGH TIME with patients making them aware of their concerns &
answers their queries satisfactorily. Presently he is working as associate
professor at MIMS, Mandya affiliated to RGUHS. He is working as CHIEF
CONSULTANT Dermatologist, Dermatosurgeon and LASER physician at Sparsha skin
care clinic, Mandya.
He is a life member of IMA, IADVL, ACSI and
PDSI. He had served Mandya Dermatology Society, IADVL, IADVL Karnataka and ACSI
and other dermatology related associations in various capacities like Joint
secretary, Treasurer and EC members. Recognizing his services he received
“Young Dermatologists award” for the year 2014-15 from IADVL Karnataka.
His areas of interest are - MEDICAL DERMATOLOGY, DERMATOPATHOLGY,
DERMATOSURGERY and COSMETOLOGY.
